Alumni in Beijing are invited to join the University of Nottingham’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor David Greenaway, for a buffet and drinks reception at the Wenjin Hotel, Beijing, on Wednesday 18th April, from 18:00-21:00. The Vice-Chancellor will be joined by University representatives including; Professor Chris Rudd, Pro Vice Chancellor for Knowledge Transfer and Business Engagement, Professor Hai-sui Yu, Pro Vice Chancellor for International Campuses, Science and Medicine, Professor Karen Cox, Pro Vice Chancellor for Infrastructure and Social Science, Mrs Kate Robertson, Director of Development and Alumni Relations, and Mr Jason Feehily, Head of the Asia Business Centre. The evening will begin with a talk from Professor Greenaway about developments at the University, both in the UK and overseas. This will be followed by a series of talks to promote the recently published book of poetry, by Professor Yu, entitled ‘Memories of our Hearts’ 《心相忆 – 海岁诗草》. A buffet will then be served with an opportunity to network with alumni in your geographical or business area, and with senior members of staff at Nottingham University. The event is free of charge to attend, but places are limited, so please book online in advance. The event will take place at the Wenjin Hotel, South Gate of Tsinghua University, Chengfu Road, Haidian District, Beijing, 100084. This event is now fully booked.
