May 2011

A huge thank you from the University to everyone in the UK and overseas who helped to make the May Fest weekend such an enormous success. If you couldn’t make it back why not check out the photos of the event here.

It’s very important for us to get feedback from you about the services we offer especially our events and I’d like to urge you to take five minutes to complete our alumni events survey. Your views will help us shape next year’s calendar of events and everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw with the chance of winning a £100 Amazon voucher. Whilst you’re online why not visit our NEW online store where you can buy University gifts and graduation items as a memento of your time at Nottingham.

You can also share feedback with us via the new online and interactive edition of Alumni Exchange magazine, now available at The online magazine will include lots more features and updated information about events and alumni activities in the six months between printed issues. Share your views with us and add your comments on the stories. We really want to hear from you.

Lots of great UK and international events coming up too this month including the Talent Roadshow in Sheffield; the Ningbo, China grand reunion party; the first ever Sports Reunion Weekend and OKA’s 25-year reunion dinner. Plus in July we’ve got a unique evening with BAFTA award-winning film maker Alex Tate (Zoology 2003) at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. Many events have a limited venue capacity and have recently been sold out so please book early to avoid disappointment. You can book online for many events so keep an eye on the events calendar at for more details.
