Searching for a Wiltshire friend
I graduated from Nottingham in English in 1963.
About a month ago I was having lunch in a local wine bar in Marlborough, where I live, with the Chief Executive of the District Council. Two ladies came over to our table and introduced themselves to him. One said to me 'I know you. We were at university together. I'm Jill (Gill? Gillian?) Russell.' Of course I knew her. We were in the University Drama Society together. I assumed they were fellow diners and thought I'd catch up with them later. When I did so, not long after, they'd gone. I reckon that she may have been a year or even two above me (I'm not sure). My recall is vague (it's nearly half a century!), but I want to say that she read English probably, but not necessarily in the class that graduated in 1962. I may be wrong about that, but amazingly I do recall that she came from the Isle of Wight. She must now live somewhere in Wiltshire. So what I'm after is her married name, if anyone can help.
All good wishes, Nicholas Fogg (firstname.lastname@example.org)
