‘Live longer – give up sex’

The world renowned fertility expert, Professor Lord Robert Winston, is to deliver a public lecture entitled ‘Live Longer – Give up Sex’ at Nottingham University Medical School tomorrow night.

The lecture is sponsored by the Society of Reproduction and Fertility (SRF) as part of its ‘Sex in Three Cities’ series, hosted every year in Nottingham, Edinburgh and London. Installation of the new Chancellor of The University of Nottingham

Sir Andrew Witty was officially installed as the seventh Chancellor of The University of Nottingham at a ceremony on 12 March.

A prize to remember Josh

In memory of a highly talented University of Nottingham alumnus who died from testicular cancer, IBM is providing a prize for the top-performing first year student in the School of Computer Science.

Josh Carrick (Computer Science 2010) was diagnosed in September 2010 shortly after graduating from the University with a degree in Computer Science. He had already landed his dream job as a technology consultant for IBM but died a year later on 3^rd October 2011, aged 23, just a week after learning that his cancer was incurable. / ......more

National Student Drama Festival
