On behalf of The University of Nottingham's Department of Sport and Recreation and the Alumni Relations Office, you are invited to join fellow alumni to celebrate 'the greatest show on earth' and to mark The University's involvement and achievements at the Games; past, present and future. Wherever you are based in the world, if you are in London on Thursday 9th August please join us for drinks and canapes at the Wellcome Collection Conference Centre, Euston Road, from 7 - 9pm. During the evening the Director and Assistant Director of Sport at the University will present an overview of the University's contribution to the Games from volunteers to torch bearers, organisers to athletes, and depending on their commitments during the fortnight, we hope to be joined by some of our own Nottingham competitors.
