Hugely successful Talent Roadshow in London
A Grade II listed Georgian townhouse provided the perfect backdrop for one of the most successful Talent Roadshows of the year.
More than 150 University of Nottingham alumni enjoyed the period features of the historic 11 Cavendish Square in the centre of London as the venue for an entertaining night of networking and informative presentations from the University.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor David Greenaway, welcomed alumni and updated the audience on all the latest developments at the University before the graduates got a flavour of some of Nottingham’s internationally-recognised and award-winning research.
The Vice-Chancellor said: “This was an outstanding event at a prestigious London venue and the feedback from alumni and from our own team was extremely positive. Thank-you to all those who made it such a special event.”
Two taster lectures followed from Professor Wyn Morgan, Professor in Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, outlined ‘Food: the next global crisis?’ and Dr Matthew Brookes, Research Fellow, School of Physics and Astronomy talked about ‘Functional Neuroimaging: a window on the working human brain’ Both presentations can be seen here.
You can also see here a gallery of photographs from the event.
