University Association Card

If you are still living in Nottingham you may find a University Association card useful.

Please contact the Alumni Relations Team to request your personal membership card.

You will need to let us know the subject you studied at Nottingham, your year of leaving, and the address to send the card to. Once you have the card you will be able to join the Sports Centre and some of the University libraries. One passport size photograph will be required for the Sports Centre and Swimming Pool membership and one for Library membership. How much does it cost? The University Association card is free but you will need to pay to join the libraries and Sports Centre.

Annual Associate Membership rates are as follows:

Swimming pool

The Fitness Centre opened in October 2002. It is a two storey development sited at the back of the University Park Sports Centre and near the halls of residence. All University of Nottingham Sports Facilities cardholders are able to use the facilities on payment of an entry fee per visit or regular users may choose to pay lump sum fees. Fully staffed by qualified instructors at all times, users may take advantage of over 120 stations including cardiovascular equipment and multi gym units. A separate weight training room including free weights is sited at ground floor level.

University’s membership of the National Free Wills Network

The University is a member of The National Free Wills Network, a directory of some 700 solicitors across the UK all of whom are recognised by the Law Society of England and Wales, the Law Society of Scotland and the Law Society of Northern Ireland

The membership affords us the opportunity to offer to pay for a limited number of ‘simple’ wills to be written by participating solicitors for alumni who are resident in the UK.

This offer is open for a limited period and applies to the writing of Wills that do not have to deal with complex issues. However, if you require more than a simple Will you may opt to pay for any additional work involved.

The University hopes that you will take this opportunity to make provision for loved ones, first, and also consider including a bequest to support the work of your University for generations to come. Although there is no obligation to do so, we sincerely hope you will be able to.
